Consultants are the key to the RDI program in families. They work as coaches for parents as follows:

Create a systematic plan to implement goals and objectives so that parents learn to be guides for their children
Guide parents to promote their child's mental growth during the daily routine
They guide parents to learn to observe and analyze themselves, their children and the state of the process of "guiding"

Goals
Learning of the theoretical foundations behind RDI programs that apply to neuronal development, dynamic intelligence, dynamic communication, etiology and the pathogenesis of autism, myths vs. science.
Goals and Objectives of the Family Consultation Program
RDI online community and peer support
General principles of consultancy: productive communication to the client, support to the family maintaining limits, development of responsibility contracts, sensitive clinical interview
Helping parents develop an optimal environment to guide their children: choice of activities, authenticity of the role, conscious decision-making

LEARN HOW TO REDEFINE AND FACILITATE RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN YOUR FAMILY
EMPOWERING PARENTS
Equips parents and brings them back to the center stage of intervention.

ABOUT CLAUDIA
Director and Founder
CAPA's director and founder, Claudia Perez- Andreessen has over 13 years of experience in both working with individuals and families one on one, and is also certified to train and supervise other clinicians going for their certification for RDI practice. She is also instrumental in working directly with the Chief Operating Officer of RDIconnect, Steven Gutstein Ph.D., on the philosophy and protocols that make up the RDI Program foundation and fundamentals.
Among her main written accomplishments are being credited for the translation of the "RDI Book" publication into Spanish, and written content as a parent in "My Baby Can Dance", She also has presented at numerous national and international conferences and organizations such as the "Autismo, Una Experiencia Diferente" Seminar sponsored by Asociacion Regiomontana de Niños Autistas” (ARENA) in Monterrey, Mexico, the Family To Family Network's "Special Education & ABC- Other Disabilities Issues Conference and Resource Fair 2014" held in Houston, and at the "2015 FICEA (Foro Internacional Condiciones del Espectro Autista) Conference" sponsored by Fundacion HACE in Guadalajara, Mexico..
